Pete Reiniger

Pete Reiniger's affiliation with the Smithsonian dates from 1973, when he was on the Festival technical crew. He served as Technical Director for the Festival from 1975 to 1977 and from 1991 until 1999. During the 1990s he also became involved with Smithsonian Folkways Recordings.
Reiniger has been involved in numerous award-winning recordings and has been twice nominated for a Grammy, winning one for his work on the "Anthology of American folk music".
