Gregory W. Yasinitsky

American Composer, Music Educator, Saxophonist.

Born 1953.
Degrees: MA and BM from San Francisco State University, DMA from Eastman School of Music.
Regents Professor of Music at Washington State University. Coordinates the Jazz Studies Program and teaches saxophone.
Has published more than 150 composition, won numerous awards.
As a sax player he has performed with such artists as Sarah Vaughn, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Lionel Hampton, Stan Getz, and Mel Torme.
