Not to be confused with the similar The Hokum Boys, the Famous Hokum Boys were a hokum and ragtime act consisting primarily of pianist Georgia Tom Dorsey and guitarists Big Bill Broonzy and Frank Brasswell, with all three lending vocals. The group recorded a number of sides which were released on various labels of the American Record Corporation between April 1930 and September of 1930.
