Maria Pavlovna Uvarova (born Morozova, also known as Uvarova-Morozova; November 23, 1923 - August 6, 2017) - Soviet and Russian singer, choirmaster, long-time soloist of the Voronezh Russian Folk Choir (Воронежский Академический Русский Народный Хор). She is best known as the first performer and alleged author of the song ("Ой, Мороз, Мороз") “Oh, Frost, Frost.” Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR (1982).
