Mickey Spiros
Real name: Michael "Mic" Spiros

November 24, 1948 - June 30, 2018Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Alexander and Aglaia (Sarant) Spiros. He grew up in Brookline and graduated from Brookline High School, Class of 1967. He went on to attend various classes and studies in music at the Boston Conservatory and Berkeley College of Music among others. Born into a talented family of musicians, Mic had a passion for rock music done his way. His mother was an accomplished Concert Pianist and piano teacher, and his father was a violinist. His brother is a virtuoso of brass instruments and had a career in the Presidential Military Band in Washington, D.C. Mic formed his band, the Incredible Two-Man Band (I.T.M.B.) and performed around Hampton Beach, New Hampshire and Massachusetts locations. He played keyboards, trumpet, drums, and guitar and composed the groups musical arrangements.
