Ramblers

Early 1960's California instrumental surf band whose lineup included Mick Meyers (lead guitar), John Schoellman (rhythm guitar), Curley Curry (drums), John Vanderbeck (tenor sax), and Jim Frost (bass guitar). Except for Vanderbeck, all members were in the US Navy, stationed at China Lake, California, at the time of their popularity. The group played night clubs and received radio play in China Lake, Ridgecrest, and Lancaster, California.
