Höwler is a Thrash Metal band from Costa Rica, which is the result of the merger of two bands in 2013: Inhaler (2006) and Höwler (2009). They decided to keep the name of the second one. Their members consist of Carlos “Charlie” Díaz (vocals), Jose “Fucas” Mora (bass), Renan Obando (guitar), David Mora (guitar) and Gonzalo Quirós (drums).

Höwler has played for almost all Costa Rican territory, has had international performances in Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras, has been the opening act of foreign bands like DRI, Wiplash, Angelus Apatrida, Solstice and Thrash or Die, and was nominated as “Best Costa Rican Band” for the Independent Music Awards in Spain.

In 2020 Höwler signed with Ragnarök Records in order to release their third album called No More Circus!

In 2022 Höwler signed with Ragnarök Records one more time, CDN Records and Doc Gator Records in order to release their fourth album called Descendants of Evil.
