Real name: Mahomet Emmanuel Yalim

Mahomet Emmanuel Yalim (July 22, 1966 – September 3, 2009), alias Talino Manu, is a Chadian singer and composer from Moïssala. He is widely known on the national art scene. Mahomet was known thanks to his first album Perseverez which has 7 tracks which are generally based on love. In 2005, he returned to the scene after several years of absence with the album Il avoir Oser. This album essentially advocates peace.

Talino Manu sings in the three most spoken languages in the country (Arabic, French and Sara), in order to convey his message of love and peace among Chadians.

Yalim Mahomet Emmanuel died on September 3, 2009 as a result of his injuries caused by a traffic accident on the Bongor-Kélo axis.

By decree dated September 5, 2009, Talino Manu was posthumously named a knight of the national order of Chad for services rendered to the Republic of Chad.

Talino was to go to Paris on September 28, 2009 to release his 3rd album.
