"These recordings were made on a 2019 residency at Sirius Art Centre, Cobh, Co. Cork. Each day I'd spend an hour or so improvising in a room containing murals by Brian O'Doherty, listen back to the recordings in the evening and try to distill what I was doing over my time there. To what extent the visual information in the room affected this process I am unsure. The music presented here was recorded on St. Patrick's Day during my last hour at the gallery, with very little omitted".
