She plays piano since age three and studied classical music at the Frescobaldi Conservatory in Ferrara, at the same time playing drums and bass in local rock bands.
After a number of unsatisfactory stints in various groups, in late 2005 she began recording a series of demos that would become the core of her first album Big Saloon, released by Italian label Madcap Collective to excellent reviews in 2006.
Highly praised to for its inventive approach to pop and psychedelia, Big Saloon quickly became an underground sensation, cementing Beatrice’s role as the crowned princess of the Italian indie scene.
Extensive touring and features in major magazines followed, while Beatrice collaborated with psych pop mavericks Jennifer Gentle (the first Italian act to be signed by US label Sub Pop) and mainstream artists like Baustelle (Warner) and Bugo (Universal).
Since then, she kept recording and releasing her own music, as well going on playing and collaborating with other artists, from A Toys Orchestra to Lydia Lunch, Emis Killa and Angela Baraldi.
In early 2018 she became a member of the band of Vasco Rossi
