Bernt Dahlbäck

Roland Bernt Dahlbäck, born November 6, 1939 in Skellefteå, died September 17, 1978 in Valla Sköldinge Assembly,
was a Swedish entertainer and comedian from Köping Sweden.

Dahlbäck formed humor Group Gårunt Show 1962.
The group made successful tours in Public parks in the late sixties and recorded several records.
Many of their number was humor classics including Bagar Berta, thank you very much and Juanita Banana.

1970 dissolved Gårunt Show and Dahlbäck continued on his own.
He played revue with Tjadden Hällström, showed off with Git Gay and guested at Hagge Geigert at Liseberg Theatre in Gothenburg.
He did own cabaret at Bacchi Wapen in Stockholm and Restaurant Trägårn in Gothenburg.

Bernt Dahlbäck also appeared in the Swedish dubbing of some Disney movies.
Many have probably heard his voice in the song "Pretend King of England" from the movie Robin Hood, 1973.

Several of his classic recordings are re-released on CD Bernt Dahlbäck's best guns which appeared in 2001.

Dahlbäck died in 1978 from cancer. He is the father of the house producer Jesper Dahlback and book publisher and writer Carl-Michael Edenborg.
