Blå Tåget

Effective period / Period of releases: 1972 - 1982

Members: Leif Nylén, Kjell Westling, Urban Yman, Tore Berger, Torkel Rasmusson, Mats G. Bengtsson, Carl-Johan De Geer

Swedish prog band. The group was originally called Tjalles Horizont and later became the Gorillaorkestern, Sound of music, and from 1969 Gunder Hägg. In January 1972, the group was forced to change its name to Blå Tåget, due to a name dispute with the athlete Gunder Hägg.

Most famous of their songs is probably "Den ena handen vet vad den andra gör", which Ebba Grön did a cover version with the name "Staten & kapitalet" (which was also what the song was called internally within the Blå Tåget in the 1970s).
