Recorded in Spring 1999 by Willy Samuels at Nu Tone Studios.

This CD is housed in a jewel case with a folding 3-panel / 6-page booklet that includes lyrics for all six songs.

Tracks 1 & 6 are exclusive to the CD version of this EP. While they aren't included on the 12-inch vinyl of 'This Is The New Romance', the vinyl includes the song 'Plain White Song'.

Track 3, 'Cut You Up Good' isn't on the 12-inch vinyl either, but that song was later issued on the 2003 2CD various artists compilation 'L.A. Shakedown'.
