Boy Krazy

Effective period / Period of releases: 1992 - 1993

Members: Johnna, Kimberly Blake, Ruth Ann Roberts, Josselyne Jones, Renee Veneziale

New York based female pop band produced by the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team. Recorded in 1991, it took two years for the first single to get significant airplay. By this time, the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team had broken up and court issues didn't help the promotion of the subsequent album. However, "That's What Love Can Do" removed Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" from the top of the charts (1993) and became their only #1 hit. Other singles, such as "Good Times With Bad Boys" and "All You Have To Do" were mostly eclipsed by Eurodance records. The group then disbanded.
Johnna Lee Cummings was the first to leave and had an unsuccessful solo career. Ruth Ann Roberts (a former Junior Miss America) is now known as Rue DeBona and co-hosted WWE's 'WWE Afterburn' prior to her release. Josselyne Jones (now Josselyne Herman-Saccio) won several awards for her singing talents and later became a famous producer and agent.
