'Evil' (sometimes referred to as 'Evil Is Going On') is a Chicago blues standard written by Willie Dixon. Recorded by Howlin' Wolf in 1954, and released by Chess records as 'Baby How Long ? / Evil Is Goin' On'. 'Evil' was then reinterpreted with more of a hard rock edge by Cactus for their 1971 album 'Restrictions'.© 2019 Weathermaker Music
