Gustaaf Stephanus Modestus "Guus" Meeuwis (born 23 March 1972) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. As part of the band Vagant, he scored several hits in the Netherlands and Flanders during the 1990s and first decade of the 2000s. On 24 May 2015, Meeuwis became the first Dutch language performing artist ever to play a fully sold-out concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. A year later he sold out Parisian's Olympic twice and will perform in Sydney Australia in April 2019. Guus has sold out over 50 stadium concerts in the Netherlands since 2004 and has become easily the biggest ticket selling artist in The Netherlands ever. He owns his own artist management company, record label, publishing company and produces his own events with his people at Modestus B.V.
