Swedish actor, singer and musical artist, born July 10, 1970 in Sköns parish in Sundsvall municipality.

She started with choir singing at an early age and in the late 1980s she participated in the singing group Just For Fun. She also starred in musicals such as The Wizard of Oz and West Side Story in her hometown. Among 1,000 other applicants, Sjöholm got the role of Kristina in the musical Various - Kristina Från Duvemåla (Den Kompletta Utgåvan), which was performed in 1995–1999. Her musical career has continued with the female lead role in the Swedish version of the musical Chess starting in 2002. For that role, she was awarded "Guldmasken" the same year. Sjöholm has also toured with Jojje Wadenius and has released the album "Visor" (2002) with Jojje Wadenius and "Genom varje andetag" (2003) with Anders Widmark. She has also participated in Rhapsody in Rock, the tour "Speldosa" with Björn Skifs, "Allsång på Skansen", the TV program "Så ska det låta" and the productions "Spelman på taket" and Les Miserables.

Sjöholm is also a member and singer of Benny Anderssons Orkester (BAO). With them she had her biggest hit song to date, Benny Anderssons Orkester, Helen Sjöholm - Du Är Min Man, which was on Svensktoppen between 2004 and 2009. The song went out on November 8, after 278 weeks on the list.

She played the role of Gabriella in Kay Pollak's film Så som i himmelen which came out in 2004. It was there that she sang Stefan Nilsson, Helen Sjöholm - Gabriellas Sång, which after 68 weeks placed itself as the sixth most played song in 2006 at Svensktoppen.

Sjöholm participated in September 2008 – December 2009 in the musical My Fair Lady, where she played against Tommy Körberg, Jan Malmsjö and Monica Nielsen. Her interpretation of Eliza Doolittle gave her the second "Guldmasken" of her career in 2009. September 23–24, 2009 Sjöholm sang the title role in the English concert version of Kristina från Duvemåla, now only called Kristina, in Carnegie Hall, New York. On April 14, 2010, she sang the same role at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

On June 18, 2010, Sjöholm sang at the Riksdag's gala concert for Victoria and Daniel in Stockholm's Concert Hall. In the late autumn of 2010, she participated in Stockholm City Theater's production of Aniara, where she played the blind poetess from Rind.
