Italian beat group raised to scene in 1965 with their debut single Morirai senza di lei, but originated since 1959 often performing as backing band for Ghigo Agosti in place of his previous band Gli Arrabbiati. In 1962 they were also performing as the backing band for Guidone, initially with the name Gli Amici and after in 1964 with the name The Ghenga's Friends. They first disbanded in 1968 and after some reunifications with line up changes, since 2006 the only original group member remains Enrico Maria Papes.
