** This is the original 1st issue released in 1998 (with slightly incorrect track sequences for CD's 1 & 2 shown in the booklet). The CD was re-issued the following year with the corrected Track sequence (and with different front cover art).

- Not a true 'compilation' of previously-released material. All tracks here were newly recorded in 1976 (field recordings at Carignan's home) by Canadian musicologist Carmelle Bégin ....and archived at the Canadian Museum Of Civilization until this release (22 years later).
