For the last 10 years, mainly in Australia, Jon Rose has been creating "The Relative Violin" - a total art form (Gesamtkunstwerk) based around one musical instrument. Here the most unlikely connections emerge in and under the focus of the Violin - the bastion of European Music subverted and vivisected.
