"When Keith was looking for a studio for the Stones to rehearse for the '81 tour, he visited Long View Farm, Brookfield, MA, in May that year. To get a feel for the room, he decided to record a few songs, sat at the piano, just Keith, a bottle of gin and some good friends, he ran through nine songs. The results were amazing, his beautiful piano playing & the vulnerability in his voice show another side to the 'human riff', captured on Ampex 456 master tape by Gil Markle, the studio owner.

The last four songs are from an earlier attempt at putting these tracks down, recorded while awaiting trial in Canada '77 at Sounds Interchange Studios, Toronto, March 12th and 13th. Ian Stewart helped out on these ones.

All songs properly recorded studio recordings. All killers, no fillers!"
