Lucian Piane

Lucian Piane is a composer/producer living in Los Angeles, CA. He received a Bachelor of Music in Composition degree from New York University in 2003, where he won Alan Menken's scholarship for composition. After graduating, he worked alongside the acclaimed Grammy, Emmy, Tony winning and 5 time Oscar nominee composer/songwriter Marc Shaiman for such feature films as Team America, Rumor Has It, Hairspray, the Broadway show "Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me" and the 76th Annual Academy Awards. Lucian received his first RIAA Platinum Album Award for his production work on New Line Record's Grammy-nominated soundtrack to the feature film "Hairspray."

He recently scored the new Summit Pictures horror film Sorority Row, the HBO documentary An Omar Broadway Film and Pretty Ugly People, a film featuring Allison Janney and Missi Pyle. He also produced RuPaul's latest album "Champion" and the theme to RuPaul's Drag Race. Other recent works include "Year End Rap" performed by Perez Hilton on his VH1 special What Perez Sez, and "Stunning," performed by Calpernia Addams for her show, Transamerican Love Story on Logo. He has achieved a noteable amount of viral success on the internet for his satirical remixes as well.
