Members: Danny Bravo Martinez, Angel Toala, Gabriel Loor, Miguel Guillén (3), Oscar Alarcón, Marko Zambrano

Pro & Contra, is a South American Hard Rock Band formed in 1997 in the city of Portoviejo-Ecuador, founded by its guitar players Gabriel Loor and Miguel Guillén

The band is highlighted for its great musical career starting concerts in bars, clubs and festivals in several cities of the country.
Pro & Contra catapulted to get to be the best amateur rock band among more than 600 bands in the national contest of the Fiora Music Festival in Quito- Ecuador held in 2002 under the production of Riccardo Perotti, and winning as a prize the recording of its First 12 songs album called Pro & Contra - Sueños Volátiles. This first album was produced in the city of Quito-Ecuador by Ivis Flies and Christian Mejía at Posdata Studio directed by Rodolf Böhmwald.
The record work was done with its initial members: Singer: Oswaldo Solorzano, Guitars: Miguel Guillén and Gabriel Loor, Drums: Wilmer Limongi, Bass: Danny Bravo Martinez and Keyboards: Jared Lopez.
Pro & Contra with more than 22 years on stage, remains a musically consolidated band, making the recordings of their work in the studio, and despite the variations of its past members over the years (supported by Jorge Vera on the bass for 9 years, and Argenis Bazurto on vocals for about 3 years) Currently P&C, have just released their new EP, Pro & Contra - Libélula.
