This is a 7-track, budget release of yet another early 80s packaging of the Jan 1962 Decca auditions. Label states "SILVER BEATLES -- Vol. 1" Here is the link for Vol 2: The Beatles - Silver Beatles (Volume 2)US release but back cover states "Jacket Made in Canada", label states "Distributed by Audiofidelity Ent., Inc. 221 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019"
Jacket incorrectly lists lead vocals for B2 "Searchin'" as by John Lennon, but are actually Paul McCartney.
Volumes 1 and 2 together actually only cover 12 of the 15 audition tracks they recorded, thus 2 of the selections are duplicated between the two volumes (Three Cool Cats and Searchin')
