Although this was the second Thunderdome-themed release by ID&T, it was numbered "4" to make a stand against the Arcade roman number series, which used the same name without ID&T's approval and had already released 3 editions so far. From this point on, ID&T and Arcade started to release the series together and this disc was also used as the second CD of the Thunderdome IV Arcade release.

This CD was also released in Germany together with the previous ID&T release (Thunderdome - Dreamteam Productions) as Thunderdome IV - The Original Dreamteam on Total Recall.

Catalog number is listed as "DURECO 1159102" on back cover and spines and as "1159102" on disc.
