The Till side of Summit of Starving recants the journey and struggles of the Donner Party toward the Western Coast while simultaneously contemplating nature’s irreverence to the yearnings of man to colonize the American Frontier.

The Caveghoul side is about the mental struggle of having to succumb to eating your recently deceased loved ones, and then realizing in the end you're still going to die all the same to the cold indifference of nature.
