Members: Alessandro Karabelas, Dest (7)

Inspired by Heavy/Thrash Metal and led by a common passion for meaningful messages, axeman Alessandro "Rampage" Rampulla and bass player Alèxandros "Kara" Karàbelas decided to start a project including singer and long time friend Dest, young lead guitarist Gianmarco "Jimmy" Montagna and Ruky on drums. During the first year of activity, Ruky decided to leave the band and was immediately replaced by experienced drummer Mirko Virdis.
After releasing three promotional tracks and playing several gigs in northern Italy, supporting band such as Extrema and Sabotage, the band started to record its first release "Anent Wist".
Mixed and mastered at AudioCore Studios, Anent Wist is a seven track EP inspired by narrative, mythology and legends.
Altjira's aim is to inspire listeners finding their own point of view by showing band's interpretation of the stories it plays of.
