The Danish company was renamed from MCA Music Entertainment A/S in December 1996. Took over Polygram Records A/S (2) on 17 May 1999. The first Managing Director was Jens-Otto Paludan; he resigned in November 2007 and was replaced by Casper Bengtson in January 2008.
