After Warner Communications' acquisition of TELDEC Schallplatten GmbH in 1988, Record Service GmbH was renamed to Record Service in May 1988 and became a division of TELDEC Record Service GmbH.
In March 1991, TELDEC Record Service GmbH became Warner Music Manufacturing Europe GmbH but continued as Record Service, a division of WMME (identifiable in the runouts by WMME Alsdorf).
