Riviera

French label (1948-1977) founded by Eddie Barclay and Nicole Barclay.

Three different periods:
• 1948-1956 Label dedicated to dance orchestras in parallel with the labels Blue Star (jazz), Mercury (American label, French song and American pop) also managed by Barclay.
• 1963-1977 Riviera (1964-1977) takes over from 707 label (1963-1964).
• 1978-1984 Riviera LM Recording System run by Léo Missir mainly for French singer Daniel Balavoine.

The different periods of the catalog (as well as the Blue Jazz and the French part of Mercury catalogs) have been largely reissued under the Barclay label.
