Recorded live at Platforma, Moscow, May 3rd, 2013

In "Passion According To Nicodemus" there's actually more text from Nietzsche than from the eponymous Gospel Of Nicodemus - paradoxically, the latter is used as a pseudo-historic document describing the trial, rather than a sacred text. And Niezsche's words (including the famous and misinterpreted "God is dead") are used as prayers. Otherwise, this work fits the parameters of the "Passion-according-to..." genre and follows its tradition.

"Passion According to Nicodemus" ends with a musical masterpiece - a prayer with remarkable rhythm in the archaic style. The complex, intricate sound fabric is designed for mastery of the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble and chamber choir Questa Musica, which operated with a rigorous precision by Philip Chizhevsky.
