Premiere release of the score to Akira Kurosawa's "Dersu Uzala" (July 1975 [USSR] | August 2, 1975 [Japan]). Sold as part of the Akira Kurosawa Film Music Complete Records: Last Volume (A.K.A.: Film Music of Akira Kurosawa The Complete Edition Vol. 3) box set and on its own. Bonus tracks include excerpts from the 1975 Nippon Columbia stereo soundtrack LP. Music composed by Isaac Schwartz, conducted by Vakhtang Jordania and performed by the USSR National Film Symphony Orchestra (Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra). All music is in mono except for tracks 22 - 33, which are in stereo.

The score was recorded on May 29 and June 2, 1975 at Mosfilm's recording studio.
