«Поп-комбинат» was a side project of the Soviet techno-pop group Биоконструктор. In summer of 1987 the album called "Сентиментальный Альбом" was recorded in their home studio. It was released under another group name, since the style of the music did not fit into the concept of Biokonstruktor. There are no other known recordings or releases of Pop-kombinat.
Until 2017 there was no proper release of this album available. This is the reason why there are many name variations of the tracks on the album and the album itself («Поп-комбинация») circulating.
