Hand-numbered limited edition of one.Artist-duplicated RadioShack® HC-60 High Clarity Audio Cassette Tape (High Bias Type II) with handmade labels firmly attached to each side of its shell. Hand-painted watercolour artwork is glued to both sides of the packaging and cannot be removed, with the front cover image continuing on the case's spine (which is textless).
Artist name provided as Ⓚ on rear cover and sequence insert; an additional piece of album artwork glued inside the case where a j-card would reside (see fourth image) provides it as Kodac, albeit very illegibly.
Nestled behind the cassette are two inserts:
•a trifold cardstock sheet with a piece of paper glued to it, the handwritten notes upon which identify the artist, album title, and timed sequence of the release (with the exception of an unlisted instrumental track at A7 which pads out the end of side one) along with two 2009 dates which possibly indicate the period of its recording and potentially being dubbed, though the exact 'release' date (in this circumstance, whenever it was presented to the recipient by the artist) remains a mystery; the anterior side features a triptych of two identical photographs of feet abutting a broom which bookend a cropped and enlarged image of the broom from this image.
•a folded letter on torn paper that directly addresses the tape's initial recipient when opened; the anterior side of this insert is blank.
The track timings used by this page reflect the circulating digitization of the cassette; durations as listed by the first insert are as follows:
A1 - 3:11
A2 - 6:50
A3 - 4:28
A4 - 7:23
A5 - 2:49
A6 - 3:00
A7 - [not listed]
B1 - 3:34
B2 - 9:06
B3 - 3:17
B4 - ∞
A4 samples Curb Your Enthusiasm S02E10 'The Massage' (15:43-44).
B1 and B3 sample Os Iusti - Gradual (Modo I) (and potentially other pieces) from Obras Maestras Del Canto Gregoriano.
