Originally created in 1991 at the request of the Japan Fisheries Agency and distributed on a cassette tape to stores for use as background music. A mini CD single was released in 1996 for mail order and was a sleeper hit sold over 20000 copies. This maxi single CD was released for sale in record stores in 2002, and reached No. 3 on the Oricon charts.
