"The name 0824 comes from the day we first heard techno at our local Tower Records in West Covina. This immediately set us on a quest all over the SGV to collect as many bootleg tapes as possible to put in our young ears. That same feeling of discovery is what runs through us every time we drive down Colima, Garvey, or Valley. The San Gabriel Valley remains our favorite place in the state and this tape is our love letter to the SGV that raised us and keeps blowing our minds".
