Professional symphonic wind orchestra of the Bavarian police with headquarters in Munich. It was founded in 1951 as Musikzug Der Bayerischen Bereitschaftspolizei in Rebdorf near Eichstätt. Later it was renamed into Musikkorps Der Bayerischen Polizei and since May 1, 2010, the orchestra has the name Polizeiorchester Bayern. Johann Mösenbichler is the conductor of the orchestra since 2006.
