Growing up in Philadlephia Gail honed her vocal and songwriting skills in various down-tempo band and production situations with the likes of jazz bassists Jamaal Adeen Tacumah (formerly with Ornette Coleman), Gerald Veasley of Grover Washington Jr.’s band, producers Kamaal Jenkins of Arrested Development, Donald Robinson who crafted Vanessa William’s « Dreamin’ ». After Todd Terry remixed her first house single she purred over more house beats and adapted her skills to the dancefloor.Releases to date:
