The Fraternity Brothers

originally from New York but raised in Los Angeles.
In the beginning of 1957 Gil Garfield (Gil Fields) leaving the trio of "Cheers", with whom he had worked since 1954, forms the duo with his friend 'brotherly' Bunny Botkin.
In 1958, a contract with Verve, allows the two to create the first single (Passion flower)
Since the spring of 1959 it adds a third component, Dave Pierson, singer and saxophonist native of Los Angeles, with experience in the orchestra of Woody Herman and in the group of "Four Grads"
