Real name: Ana María Matute Ausejo
Ana María Matute Ausejo (26 July 1925 – 25 June 2014) was an internationally acclaimed Spanish writer and novelist. She published her first story, The Boy Next Door, when she was only 17 years old. Matute was a university professor. She studied at the international school at Hilversum, Netherlands.
