Korean singer, songwriter and actor, born 6 January 1994 Siheung, South Korea. He is the leader of group Got7.

He successfully auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2009, along with fellow member Jinyoung and, in May 2012, they debuted together as the duo JJ Project with the single album Bounce.

He had his acting debut in the television drama Dream High 2, which began airing on January 30, 2012 on KBS. He adopted the stage name "JB" in order to avoid being confused with Yim Jae-beom, a famous senior singer.

He majored in Film at Konkuk University.

In 2021, following Got7's departure from JYP Entertainment, he officially changed his stage name to Jay B and started his solo career under H1ghr Music.
