Biography

Overflow
Overflow were formed in September 1999 and the first cell was made up of Jacopo Besutti (vocals), Giuseppe Bassi (guitar), Lorenzo Dodi (drums) and Riccardo Verrini (bass). From the beginning the band decides to compose their own songs, but something is missing. The problem was solved with the arrival of Luca Severi (guitar) in January 2000. In this way the group could seriously deal with the writing of the pieces.
In July 2000 Giacomo Infantino (vocals) joined the Modena combo and in October of the same year Christian Ardizzoni (samples). A good number of pieces are composed and the live activity takes place quite frequently; in this way the group improves both from a technical point of view and from the point of view of the harmony between the individual members. Furthermore, the style that characterizes the Overflow sound is also defined: numerous electronic samples and bone-breaking metal-core accelerations are inserted on a musical base of clear crossover extraction, obviously basing everything on sonic saturation and aggression.
In January 2001 the group recorded their debut mini-CD at the Fear Studio in Alfonsine (Ra), among the best in terms of a certain type of sound (groups such as Browbeat, H-Strychnine and Folder have recorded there) with the help by DJ Cecc (turntables). In October 2001 the group signed a contract with Loudblast Rec, Lorenzo from Crackdown's label; the debut "Oink!?!" it is distributed by Self in Italy and by Copro in England and Ireland. The band participates in the Hate sound system compilation published by Fray Records (released in March 2002), together with numerous hardcore/crossover groups from the emerging Italian scene.
The group continues to perform on many Italian stages. in May 2002 the group was preparing to record the video for Disco F@ck (downloadable), a song that will be present on the Punk e Contaminazioni II compilation published by Suns rec. due out in February 2003.
In September we ended up removing Jacopo, who we thank for everything he did for us, from the group due to musical differences. and Seven is "hired", who proves to be a very active and stimulating element. In the same period, a bond was formed with 2KKRecords of Milan led by Luca De Simone.
In January 2003 the group recorded a song to understand which direction to take their path, the result was My Fault.
In April/May 2003 Overflow returned to Fear Studio to record Two pieces aimed at professionals.
In July 2003 Complete...Incomplete, the new production was completed and received acclaim from the entire Italian musical scene.
At the beginning of 2004 the collaboration with Luca Piccoli's DLT records began.
