Argentinian violinist, composer and director born December 14, 1900 – Died January 14, 1976. Known as "El Rey del Compás" (King of the Beat).

From 1925 to 1928 performed in the stable orchestra for the Paramount theather-cinema (previously known as the Moullin Rouge).
Then formed the sextet Los Ases with Anselmo Aieta between 1928 and 1930.
His own orchestra appears in recordings with perforation dates from 1936. He continued recording until the 70s.

Nephew of Alfredo Amendola of Amendola & Cia., thanks to whom he recorded his first songs.
Cousin of Atilio Améndola
