Pianist, composer and piano teacher residing in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Received his M.F.A. in New Media Composition from the California Institute for the Arts (Valencia, CA) in 2001 where he studied with Morton Subotnick, Mark Trayle and Tom Erbe. In 1997 he earned his B.A. in Composition from Bard College (Annandale-on-Hudson, NY) where he studied with Joan Tower, Daron Hagen and Richard Teitelbaum. He also attended the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music (Oberlin, OH) where he studied Trumpet Performance with Byron Pearson.

Ben performs original electronic music from leftfield, IDM to electro using software created with the SuperCollider programming language.
