Yannis Kakoulides was a Greek playwright, poet, screenwriter, lyricist and political activist. Born in 1946 in Piraeus, Greece - Died on 14 November 2015 in Athens, Greece.
He wrοte the lyrics for over 500 well-known Greek songs. He was twice awarded the 1st Prize of the Thessaloniki Song Festival (1965 and 1972). He was a member of the National Society of Greek Writers, the French Writers' Association, the Greek Playwrights' Association, the Greek Screenwriters' Union and the Greek Composers-Lyricists Union of Greece.
