Greek composer, arranger, conductor, producer, and pathologist (he has been president of the International Academy of Pathology (2014-2018)), known as Giorgos Kontogiorgos. Born in Agia Marina (near Lamia), Central Greece, residing in Agria, Volos, Greece.
One of the main songwriters of the Neo Kyma style. From 1965 he began to record and release on albums ballads with singers of the Neo Kyma and folk songs with famous singers of the time until 1974. During the decade 1965-1975 he also worked as an orchestrator and conductor of ensembles in recordings in various studios. From 1972 he began writing music for theater, cinema, as well as for radio and television. From 1980 onwards he systematically deals with the composition of classical music.
