Former co-owner of the infamous These Records shop, with his brother Andrew. As well as his involvement with These, Howard is a multi-instrumentalist and sound artist of many years standing. He has worked with musicians such as Mary Currie and Mick Hobbs, and has taken part in many ad-hoc ensembles, in addition to the groups he is a member of. He is a founder member of the performing and broadcasting collective Bermuda Triangle Test Transmissions.
