Edgard José Scandurra Pereira (São Paulo, February 5, 1962) is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer, founder and member of the rock band Ira!.

Before founding Ira!, Edgard — who is left-handed and was elected one of the best Brazilian guitarists by Heavy Metal Brasil — was part of and suggested the name of the band Ultraje a Rigor. He has also made several special appearances with other Brazilian bands and artists such as Kid Abelha, Vange Milliet, Ultraje a Rigor, Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Vespas Mandarinas, Lobão and Guilherme Arantes. He has participated in more than 90 albums, eight solo or in partnership, 53 as a member of other projects and bands and 32 participations and productions.
He was elected for 4 consecutive years as the best Brazilian instrumentalist by Bizz magazine until he became hors concours.
In 2009, elected by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 most important MPB musicians of all time. Also by this Magazine, he was listed in the list of 30 greatest Brazilian guitar and guitar icons.
