Slobodan M. Draskovich (1910-1982) was an author and lecturer. He became a charter member of The John Birch Society and a member of its National Council. In the summer of 1966, he dramatically resigned from the Society because of his dissatisfaction with its leadership. Draskovich had been a professor of law at the University of Belgrade prior to the Nazi occupation of Yugoslavia, at which point he was imprisoned in a concentration camp for four years.
