The Mauve

Formed circa 1965 in Acton, MA (Acton Boxborough Regional High School). Disbanded 1966.

Members:

- Jim Ford - vocals (James Deth Ford z Acton, born 06.11.1946 in Maynard, MA)
- Eric Semple - lead guitar (Eric A. Semple, born 25.02. 1950, student - Acton Boxborough Regional High School - class 1968)
- Charlie Weeks - bass (ABRHS - class 1968)
- Paul Munroe - drums.

At that time, the studio (Continental Recording) was working with The Boss Todes, formed by Dick Ford (Jim's younger brother by two years). The label was printed - "Boss Todes" - below The Mauve. The team crossed out the mistake with a marker.

When Jim Ford was entered to army Charlie Weeks and Eric Sample joined to Boss Todes ( band created by younger Jim Ford brother Dick Ford) in 1966.
